We are an award-winning community organization preventing food waste and fighting food insecurity. When fruit goes unpicked, families go hungry. We connect the two by rescuing surplus produce from backyards, orchards, and farms, and getting it to the people who need it most.

Every piece of fruit we rescue is one less going to waste and one more feeding a family. Our volunteer-powered network turns neighborhood abundance into community nourishment.
Our Journey
From a walk to a movement
Fruitfully Yours Founded
Mihir, then a freshman at Glendora High School, and his mother Vineet noticed fruit going to waste on their daily walks through the neighborhood. With support from the then-Mayor of Glendora, they began recruiting volunteers to pick surplus fruit and donate it to local food banks.
Expanding Across the Valley
What started in Glendora grew through social media, community events, and partnerships with local organizations. Fruitfully Yours expanded to serve La Verne, San Dimas, Covina, and Azusa across the San Gabriel Valley.
Pandemic Picks
When COVID-19 hit, we didn't stop. As demand at Shepherd's Pantry and other food banks multiplied, we introduced "socially distanced pandemic picks," following CDC guidelines while continuing to deliver fruit to families in need.
10,000 Pounds Rescued
Hit our first major milestone with the help of a growing volunteer network across Glendora, La Verne, and surrounding cities.
Community Partnerships Expand
Partnered with local food banks, schools, and community organizations to reach more food-insecure families than ever before.
Record-Breaking Pick
Our terrific team rescued more than 1,600 pounds of oranges in a single fruit pick in Glendora, our largest to date.
115,000+ Pounds and Growing
Crossed 115,000 pounds of fruit rescued, impacting thousands of individuals across the valley. The work continues.
